Built by Operators. Focused on Results.

Stratum Labor Consulting exists to close the space between people and policy. Work is not a spreadsheet. Compliance is not a stack of papers. Both are promises to be kept. We are here to help leaders keep those promises with clarity and care.

We are a bench of operators who have lived the work. Our consultants have hired and onboarded at scale, led investigations, written policies that stand up to review, and built systems that teams can trust. We come from nonprofits, healthcare, government funded programs, and growing private companies. We know the pressure, the deadlines, and the standards that do not bend.

Our belief is simple. Good HR should make a place feel calmer, safer, and more accountable. Policies should be clear. Files should be clean. Conversations should be honest. When those things happen, people do their best work and organizations stay ready for whatever arrives.

Our way of working is direct. We listen first. We map the problem. We set a path that people can follow. Then we do the work and leave behind tools that last. Training, documentation, and habits that your team can keep long after we are gone.

What makes us different is follow through. We do not hand you a binder and wish you luck. We build, implement, and coach until the change sticks. We support employers who want strong, compliant teams. We also guide employees who need a clear plan through hard moments in their careers. Both sides deserve fairness and facts.

If you want advice that becomes action, and action that holds up, meet the people behind the work.

FOUNDER & CEO

Rhad Fakhoury is an HR and labor law professional with over seven years of experience in compliance, investigations, audits, and employee relations. He has worked with organizations across industries, focusing on results, accountability, and structure that actually works.

Rhad founded Stratum Labor Consulting because traditional HR is outdated. The old way of doing things doesn’t protect businesses or employees the way it should. His approach rebuilds HR from the ground up with a focus on compliance, efficiency, and real problem-solving.

With a background in Anthropology, Criminology, and Employment Law, Rhad brings a clear, balanced perspective on how workplaces operate and how to make them better without the politics.

Rhad’s goal is simple: bring accountability back to HR and eliminate the excuses that keep workplaces stuck. He doesn’t overcomplicate problems; he fixes them.

Stack of five books titled "HUMAN RESOURCES" with a black cover featuring a skeleton working at a computer, with the words "HR YOU" above it and "SHRM IS DEAD" on the screen.

HR YOU is not a textbook. It is a survival guide.

Built for business owners, HR professionals, managers, and anyone responsible for people decisions, this book breaks down human resources the way it actually works in the real world. Not theory. Not fluff. Real situations, real risks, and real solutions written by someone who has lived inside the chaos of compliance, employee relations, and leadership pressure.

This book was created for the moments when Google is not enough and legal counsel is not immediately available. When an employee files a complaint. When documentation is missing. When leadership decisions can either protect the business or expose it. HR YOU walks you through what matters, why it matters, and how to respond with clarity and confidence.

Inside, you will find practical guidance on compliance, employee relations, documentation, investigations, and risk prevention. Everything is written in plain language, without legal jargon, so you can actually use it. Whether you are building policies from scratch, managing difficult employee situations, or trying to avoid costly mistakes, this book gives you a framework that holds up under pressure.

If you are responsible for people, you are responsible for risk. HR YOU helps you stay ahead of it.
